Many write asking, how do I start to invest in real estate?

The best way to start according to CEO Ferdinand Ruaño, is to simply buy your home. This is a property you can leverage down the road or convert into a rental property as you move out to your next property.

Buy your home

A home is probably the most important wealth-building asset for any American in the US.

Besides your home, there are plenty of ways to invest in real estate. So, if you are ready to move on to the next step, here are some options you could consider.

Exchange-traded fund

You can invest in real estate through an exchange-traded fund in the stock market for example through a brokerage account.

Private Placement

You can also invest in a private placement which is more boutique if you have 50k. This option gives you a much more tailored solution for the investor.

Borrow money to flip or for rental properties

Another option is to use that money you have to borrow and flip or reinvest in a rental property. Now, this option means that, if you are doing it on your own without a consultant, you may encounter some challenges as you will need income rental analysis, cap rate analysis among others. Now, this type of investment may require only 20k depending on where you are.

Listen to our CEO, Ferdinand Ruaño as he answers these questions from followers all over the world.
